Mango Beef

Ingredients
  • 250g rump steak

  • 2 tablespoons Trident Teriyaki & Lime Marinade

  • 2 tablespoons ginger wine

  • 1 teaspoon cornflour

  • 3 tablespoons oil

  • 2 small shallots, sliced

  • 2cm piece of ginger, grated

  • ½ mango, cubed

Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon ginger wine

  • 4 drops of sesame oil

  • 2 teaspoons cornflour

  • ½ cup water

  • Steamed rice, to serve

Instructions:
  • Cut rump steak into strips. Combine in a bowl with Trident Teriyaki & Lime Marinade, ginger wine and cornflour and mix well. Stand for 30 minutes.

  • Add 2 tablespoons of oil to wok. Add meat. Cook until browned. Remove from wok and add remaining oil, shallots, ginger and sauce ingredients until thickened.

  • Return meat to sauce and lastly add cubed mango. Heat through.

  • Serve with rice.
